We are hiring a Project Estimator to scope client requests and produce clear, realistic effort and delivery estimates for our software and cloud projects.
Location: Dublin, Ireland. Full-time. Experience: 3-6 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Review client requirements and break work into estimable tasks
- Produce effort, timeline and resource estimates with stated assumptions
- Work with engineers, designers and analysts to validate estimates
- Identify risks, dependencies and open questions early
- Track actuals against estimates and improve the process
Required Skills
- Experience estimating or planning software or IT delivery work
- Understanding of Agile and waterfall delivery
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Clear written communication for proposals and assumptions
Nice to Have
- Technical background in development or cloud
- Experience with Jira or similar planning tools
